There are other fields of study that he supposedly received a degree in, such as an undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Theology in the year of 1831. -
Alfred Russel Wallace had the same findings
Before Charles Darwin published his book in 1859, On the Origin of Species, Alfred Russel Wallace was practically the encouragement for Darwin to write and publish his studies. This occurrence was due to Wallace being a fellow naturalist that had similar findings as Darwin, which was the concept of evolution through natural selection. -

‘On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection’ was published in 1859 and was a bestseller. This was around twenty years after Charles Dawrin had formulated the original theory of evolution. 'On the Origin of Species' reflects theological views
Just as the theory of evolution by natural selection spikes and thus creates interest for many scientists or curious minds. There was also backlash on Charles Darwin and his fellow theorists, Alfred Wallace. How could a creature descend from another if God was the creator of all things? A debate that continues into today’s society. This theory was non accepted by churches and religious leaders, ultimately causing riot.
