    This is the beginning of Charles Darwin's adventure to be widely known in his field. This would have to be a huge part when discussing his life. Though it was without honors, it goes to show that determination and passion must be mixed with knowledge to achieve greatness.     One of first actual surveying that was not just field notes. To many, this is the first of the works of Charles Darwin.   • 1837 Darwin gives papers at Geological Society of London

    Darwin gives papers at the Geological Society of London, this organized his Beagle specimens being identified. This also begins the publications of The Zoology of the Voyage of the Beagle. Networking with John Gould concerning bird specimens. This is a big step towards his later works that begin to form Darwin's thoughts on evolution.

  • 1846 Publishes Geological Observations on South America

    Darwin Publishes one of his predominate works on observations in his survey and study of South American specimens. Bringing all his observation and theories to a more formal conclusion. Though many works have been published before this one, this created a larger buzz around Darwin. This started to expand his studies, which he began work on barnacles.
