Theory of Evolution
Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution by natural selection was first formulated in his book "On the Origin of Species" in 1859. He described it as the process by which organisms change over time as a result of changes in heritable physical or behavioral traits. These changes allow the organism to better adapt to its environment an will help it survive and have more offspring. Charles Darwin stated that evolution by natural selection is one of the best theories of science biology. -

Take the whale for example, it was once thought to be a land-dwelling mammal that moved to the water. Eventually those individuals with heritable traits better suited to the environment will survive.
