Departure of HMS Beagle
After completing college, Charles Darwin had the opportunity to embark on a five year voyage throughout the world to study nature. On December 27, 1831, Charles Darwin embarked on the HMS Beagle to begin its voyage to South America and other parts of the world. During the trip, Charles Darwin collected multiple natural specimens, including plants, birds and fossils. -
