    Charles Darwin was a scholar in the 1800s that would study many different types of science. He created the scientific theory of evolution by natural selection and became a major contributor to evolutionary studies. He attend school at Edinburgh University in Scotland when he was just 16.     In 1831, Darwin embarked on a voyage with the British Royal Navy and was employed as a naturalist. He spent much of this time collecting specimens as he explored regions around South America. ( Adrian J Desmond, 2023)

    Darwin publishes On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection. This book theorized that species change over time and that the earth was older than humans thought at the time.

Charles Darwin's theories impacted the scientific community his idea challenged Darwinism, eugenics, and other biological terms that society used to deem many classes of life unfit.
