HMS Beagle
On August 1831, Charles Darwin was invited to set sail with the British Royal Navy. Charles purpose on the boat was to survey the coastline of South America and harbors to create a detailed map. Charles collected various of rocks, plants, animals, and fossils, while visiting various of locations such as Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Galapagos.

Observation in Chile
During his sail on the HMS Beagle, Darwin was in Chile when the Concepcion Earthquake happened, After the earthquake he had decided to stay back and watch the effects of the earthquake. Published On the Origin of Species
The book itself was about the diversity of organism and their characteristics. He gathered pigeons to see if any of the chicks were anything like its ancestral rock dove then its own parents. he also refused to believe that human had evolved from apes and denying mankind's immortality. The start of "Evolution is caused of Natural Selection" and a paradigm shift.

The Descent of Man
The Descent of Man talks about the theory of evolution through the human species, process of sexual selection, and the development of intellect. This idea came about after the discovery of relations between different races building up in the past, while also exploring the attraction of other animal species.
