    In 1825 Darwin was sent to medical school at the University of Edinburg by his father. He later transferred to Christs college in 1828 and was suggested to go on a Voyage to help support his theory of evolution.

    In 1831 Darwin went on a a voyage to check out the coastline of South America and chart the harbors in order to make a better map of the region. That was not all Darwin did, he collected many different samples of plants, animals, and rocks. He sent them back to England on Vessels.When he returned to England 5 years later he continued to study these samples and realized this helped process and understand the shape of Earths surface.He then began to question how species grow and change over time.
  • Darwins Published Thoughts

    In 1859, Darwin published his thoughts about evolution and natural selection in On The Origin of Species. Not many people agreed, nor disagreed. But it did allow people to realize that Earth was and is a lot older than the people thought. Almost six thousand years older.

Although his ideas were a game changer, his ideas also made some of the most trouble with racisms and classicist social programs over the last 150 years
