Darwin goes to college!
Darwin found most of college to be rather boring and trifling as nothing really seemed to peak his interests. He was learning the chemistry of cooling rocks and how to classify plants. He was even taught how to stuff birds at the Edinburg Museum. it wasn't until later he met his mentor, Robert Grant (a radical evolutionist) From grants, Darwin unlocked his interest in invertebrate zoology and thus began his journey to discover the origin of creatures. -
The main event!
stripped of academic references, Darwin releases 'On the Origin of Species'. He had been working on this paper for quite some time in private but it wasn't until 1859 that he finally made it public. This book received him a lot of backlash as it was championed by Huxley, but due to illness, Darwin does not entertain him. -
Darwinism
It wasn't until after the book was published by his team that Darwinism really began to take off. it became so extensive that it even began to dominate most of the majority of views from the British Association. -
