On this day Charles Darwin first, publicly, stated his views on evolution in an article titled "On the Origin of Species." In this work, he stated that humans evolved throughout the years and generations; evolving from one to the next, into the beings that we are today. This paper received a lot of backlash from the scientific community. This paper rocked the status quo that was believed in the scientific community at the time. -
