Darwin was a fan of collecting lots of items such as bird eggs, sea shells, bugs, ad different types of mineral. He enjoyed sitting under is dining table reading and studying. as a kid he was bored with school yet he always loved learning about new things on his own. -
Dawrin sets sail
in 1831 Darwin received an invitation on the voyage of the beagle. This invitation was the most life changing opportunity for him. He spent five years sailing the coast of South America and the surrounding islands. this is where and when he found himself an established naturalist. -
natural selection & genetic evolution
Darwin collected so much new data on his voyage. When he got back he made his theory on natural selection.He realized that animals would produce more offsprings that could survive and saw that some were better adapted to the environment. this giving hi the conclusion that the more adapted offsprings would pass on the genetics, causing genetic evolution. -
Copley Award
After his voyages and new findings Charles Darwins was soon Awarded the Copley award for his important researches in geology, zoology and botany. -
Darwins Death
Charles live a very long and important life. He made outstanding discoveries and theories that we still go off of today. Sadly Darwin passed away on April 4th 1882
