    Darwin's Early Childhood.
Charles Darwin was born February 12, 1809.He was a philosopher that contributed natual selection to the evolution of science. His grandfather and Father contributed a lot to his life. He studies in public school from 1818 to 1825. He went to Edinburgh University and Christ's College. He got his Bachelors of Arts in 1831. He met Reverend John Stevns Henslow and they set sail on the Beagle on December 27,1837. https://youtu.be/dfsUz2O2jww.
  • The Beagle voyage

    The Beagle voyage
Charles Darwin spent five years on a voyage to discover new places and learn more about what he was interested in. Throughout this voyage, he spent only 18 months aboard the ship. He learned a lot about different animals and humans evolved to survive. Darwin experimented, drew illustrations, and collected many specimens for his research. During the last part of his voyage, he finished his diary, all of his notes, and all his drawings of everything that he discovered.
  • After Darwin's Voyage

    After Darwin's Voyage
After Darwin came back from his voyage his diary was published in 1839. He then began his research in evolution. The woodpecker finch was the main animal that played a big role in his theory of evolution. He began looking at how the finch's changed their appearance to adapt to survive. Darwin also started looking into why animals went extinct. He came to the conclusion that after his research that only the "fit" would survive. In 1839 he shut his last notebook of evolution. He also married.
  • Origins of Species

    Origins of Species
In 1854 he solved his last major problem and produced new evolutionary findings. In 1855 he proved that seeds in seawater could survive oceans crossings to start the process of speciation on islands. He also perfected his natural selection with a fancier wording of "artificial selection". Darwin had an admirer, Ernst Haeckel, that would spread "Darwinismus" through the Prussian World. Charles Darwin had a lot of admirers that loved the work that he did and how he changed science.
  • Human Evolution and Death

    Human Evolution and Death
Charles Darwin looked more into human evolution. He studied more about the difference between humans and animals and how that changed the way that people looked at evolution as a whole. He made a photographic illustration in 1872 called "The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals". He then wrote his autobiography between the years 1876 and 1881. His last publication was "The Formation of Vegetable Mould Through the Action of Worms". He then died on April 19, 1882, from a heart attack.
