    Beagle Expedition
The Beagle Expedition was the name of the trip Darwin took to the Galapagos Islands. He was there for a total of 5 weeks, visiting 4 different islands. Darwin was able to study multiple new species he had never encountered before. They were all very close in distance, yet evolved in such different ways. Each island showed animals that were similar to the others, but because of their environment they evolved in a different way to survive. This was eventually called Natural Selection.
