In the year 1825 entered college to become a medical doctor at age 16. Enrolled in the University of Edinburgh. -
Voyage
Was invited to go take a voyage on the HMS Beagle. On this trip, he would study and collect birds plants, and fossils to complete research. Five years later he returned to England. -
Published Book
"On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life." Writes about his theories of evolution on natural selection. -
Second Published Book
"The Descent of Man and Selection in Relation to Sex," Applies the theory of evolution to human evolution. Also writes on sexual selection. -
Death
Darwin suffered from a lot of different conditions beginning in his early 20s, this included chronic vomiting, abdominal pain, and gastrointestinal trouble. Later in life, he developed other random unrelated symptoms, including eczema, weakness, vertigo, twitching, and joint pain. The main cause of his death was heart failure. -
