Charles Darwin 12FEB1809-19APR1882

  • Darwin's voyage

According to Darwin, the voyage he labeled as the Beagle voyage was the most important event of his life. Before the voyage he believed he would pursue a career in religion as a clergyman. After his discoveries upon his voyage, he decided to change his career to be a naturalist. The voyage was set out to survey the coastline of South America from England, which gave Darwin the opportunity to study different types of organisms, fossils, and geological aspects.
  • Darwin's return

Upon Darwin’s return, he discovered anomalies in his belief of the stability of species across the world. During his voyage we believed that the data he had collected might faintly indicate that there would be a paradigm shift to the belief that species stay the same over time.
