    Although at first Charles Darwin had objected the invitation letter to join the Beagle Voyage because he thought it was a waste of time. But due to persuasion from his brother-in-law, he accepted the letter and joins Captain Fitzroy aboard HMS (Her Majesty’s ship) Beagle for the next five years traveling the world.     On Charles Darwin voyage with the HMS Beagle, they arrived in Brazil in March of 1833. He encounters slavery and refuses the idea, detested it.     As any voyage, there will always be some unavoidable natural disasters. Charles Darwin experienced an earthquake in Chile and collected evidence of the uplift of the coast. As he traveled inland, into the mountains, he discovered a series of remains of marine shells. This led him to believe that these earthquakes had happened in geological past too.
    Also, during this year Darwin visited the Galapagos Island. Noting in his dairy about the wildlife differing from island to island.

    During his journey he filled his dairy with 1,750 pages of notes and his experiences. He also had his collection of fossils, bones, and other simples. Darwin went to publish his book, On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection about his theory of evolution.
