    In 1889 the premier of New South Wales Henry Parkes made a bold effort to unite the land

  • 1891

    in 1891 the First National Australaision convention is held in Sydney and drafts a constitution.

  • In 1897-1898

    In 1897-1898 the second nation Australaision convention meets in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne and agree to the constitution.

  • 1900

    On the 5 the of July 1900 the British parliament passes the commonwealth of Australia constitution Act.

  • 1901

    On 1st of January the commonwealth of Australia is proclaimed the first prime minister( Edmund Barton) and parliament were sworn in.
