  • Peace of Paris

    The Peace of Paris was and agreement between Great Britain, France, and Spain that was signed after the seven years war.
  • Sugar Act

    The British lowered their tax on molasses to induce importers on buying British molasses instead of smuggling it from competing French and Spanish colonies.
  • Boston Massacre

    The British soldiers opened fire on a group of American colonist killing 5 men. This happened because the Americans had been leading protest against the British because of their taxation.
  • Regulator Protests (1768-1771)

    This was when the Carolina colonies took arms against colonial officials that they believed were corrupt.
