    Proclamation was Issued bu the British after the French and Indian war.The British government could not afford to send soldiers to enforce of law because of the dept.They felt like the king was restricting their freedom.

    Sugar Act was the first new taxes.This law was made so the British can have control over the colonies.Sugar Act lowered the duty,or the tax.
  • Currency Act

    Currency Act was also there to control the colonial economy.The Currency could be used in colonies.With the shortage of British currency in the colonies there were number of economic difficulties.

    The Stamp Act was ever greater storm of protest.The Stamp act nothing to further Britain's mercantilist aims .Stamp Act was their to raise revenue to pay soldiers stationed in the colonies

    Quartering Act was were Colonist had to provide housing for the British soldiers.If they did not have house for the soldiers the men were in local inns,homes,and,stables,or vacant house or barns.During the Quartering Act the British troops can not kick people out of people homes.
