  • Sugar act

    Parliament passed the sugar act which lowered the tax on imported goods.

  • Stamp act

    Parliament passed the stamp act which put tax on all printed material.

  • The repeal of the Stamp Act

    In 1766 Parliament repealed the Stamp act but on that same day,they passed the declaratory act.

  • Townshend act

    This act taxed tea,and paper.

  • Tea act

    This act allowed the company to sell directly to shopkeepers and merchants.

  • Coercive act

    The British government made his act which closed Boston Harbor until colonists paid for the ruined tea.
