Molasses Act
Passed to discourage colonial trade with French West Indies. -
Sugar Act
Imposed new duties on sugar, coffee, and other imports but reduced the duties on molasses. -

Barred colonists from printing their own paper money. Also, Brithis insisted that the colonists use gold or silver to pay their debts. -

This was a street mon composed of laborers, seamen, and young boys. They threw rocks and snowballs at British soldiers. It's been told that the colonists fired the first shot against the redcoats. -

The British won Lexington and Paul Reveure warned Concord where they used gorilla warfare to defeat the British -
Montreal Battle
Richard Montgomery lead the colonists to victory. -
Quebect Battle
The Americans attacked but they lost causing the British to win. -
The Declaration of Independence
Basically, this document is stating that America needs to cut ties with Britain. They warned Britian that they shouldn't be taking control over the colonies. They didn't care about the colonies so, thats why they need to seperate from Britian. They colonies are free and independent states. The colonies have full rights just like every other country. -
Long Island Battle
British brought troops from Brooklyn and defeated the Americans in Manhattan. -
White Plains Battle
British destroyed Washingtons Army and could have ended the war. -
Tenton Battle
Washington crossed the Delaware on Christmas and suprises the British. -
Princeton Battle
Washington attacked the depleted British one more time before the winter. -
Monmouth Battle
One general called a retreat to Washington. Railed the troops inspiring them to rebel two British counterattacks. -
Loyalist defeated
At Kings Mountain, South Carolina, Virginia, and North Carolina militiamen isolated Loyalist militia and defeated them. -
Yorktown Battle
Cornwallis opened neqotiations with Washington, and two days later he surrendered along with his army.
