The Petition of Right is a document that puts out specific liberites that the king is prohibited from breaking. It was sent out by the English Parliament. -
English Bill of Rights
The English Bill of Rights was an act declaring the rights and liberties of the subject and settling the succession of the crown. This is an act of Parliment of England. -
Albany Plan of Union
The seven American colonies had a meeting of delegates, in Albany, New York. Benjamine Frnaklin proposed a plan where the colonies would be united under one. -
Boston Masacre
The Boston Masacre was a street fight against the American colonists and the British soldiers. Civilian-military tension was the on going issue that made the masacre occur. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was some of the Massachusetts patriots, protesting the monopoly on tea importation. They dumped 342 chests of tea and threw them into Boston harbor. -
First Continental Congress
The First Continential Congress always met at Carpenter's Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The meetings were held to the pass the Coercive Acts by the British Parlliament. -
