Peace of Augsburg divides Christianity in Germany
The Peace of Augsburg is an agreement formally accepted the division of Christianity in Germany. After the agreement German states were free to choose between Catholicism and Lutheranism. Even after the Peace of Augsburg religious disputes continued in Germany. -
