    Two men, Sacco and Vanzetti, were convicted for the murder of a factory worker and his guard. Some believe that they were arrested because they were immigrants and anarchists. Although Sacco and Vanzetti gave their statements and provided alibis for the time of the murder, evidence showed that they committed the crime. Sacco’s gun was found at the scene and witnesses claimed to have seen Italians at the shooting. Judges decided to arrest both men and sentence them to death by an electric chair.

Mussolini's main goal was to create a new Roman Empire. To create the empire he invaded Ethiopia and conquered it. His biggest impact in Italy was creating the Fascist party.
  • Henry Ford introduces Model A

    After Henry Ford released the widely popular Model T car, production shut down after the 15 millionth model was made. During the shut down, he spent his time upgrading factories and improving the design of his new car, the Model A. This was the first Ford vehicle to use the well-known blue logo. It also included new safety features like a Safety Glass windshield. By 1931, the Model A had about 5 million sales, despite the Great Depression and the economic hardships it brought.

Hoover held office from March 4, 1929 - March 4, 1933 during the Great Depression. Hoover was a member of the republican party and was Secretary of Commerce in the 1920s.
