Sugar Act
Was an act that put 3 cent tax on foreign refined sugar and increases taxes on coffee, indigo and certain wines. This was formed in britian The Goverment inforced the rules for the colonist who lived under them. They inforced these rules because they wanted to tax the people so they could get more money. The colonist it affected made them very angry because they had to pay ridiculous taxes. -
Stamp Act of 1768
This act that required colonist to pay for an official stamp or seal when they bought paper items. This act was created by the British prime minster (Greenvile) -
Sons of liberty
Colonial agents working in Britian express their concerns over the stamp act long before passes. This was important because they would try to lower taxs for the colonist which is what the colonist wanted. -
Townshend Act
Were series of Acts passed begining by parliament ( Great Britian) relating to British colonies in North Ameria. This happened because the Townshend Acts were British tricks to cut the British land tax and to tax the colonist.It happened because the British didn't have enough money to supply their own people from the other war that just happened. -
Boston Massacacre
Was a street fight that occured on march 5 between british soliders and an angry mob of colonist. The mob was angry because some has lost jobs that ngith and others just had many reasons to hate the Goverment. Serval colonist were killed that night. -

Laws of punishments created by King George III put on the colonis in Britian because of the dumping tea into the habor. SOme of the Intolerable acts were:The King closed Boston Harbor to everything but British ships.The colonists had to house and feed the British troops.
