    The Magna Carta was King John saying that everyone including the king was subject to the law.
  • Petition of Right

    A statement of civil liberties sent by English Parliament to King Charles I. No taxation without representation, no imprisonment without cause, no quartering of solders on subjects, no martial law during times of peace.
  • English Bill of Rights

    Cut the power of the king. saying what he could and could not do.
  • Albany Plan of Union

    It was a plan to place the British Northern Colonies under a more centralized government.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    A "patriot" mob throwing sticks, and stones at British troops. The troops fired upon the mob and several died.
