The Mier Y Teran Report
President Guadalupe Victoria named General Manuel de Mier y Terán to investigate the Texas and Mexico border and the attitudes of the people living there. His findings led to a law which closed the border of Texas to keep Americans out and caused closer ties with Mexico. -
