    The Proclamation of 1763 didn't let any English settlement west of the Appalation Mountains. The Proclamation was sighed by King George lll. The colonists were not happy about not being able to go west of the Appalation Mountains.
  • The Sugar Act of 1764

    The Sugar Act was brought on by the Fench and Indian War. The Sugar Act was passed by Parliament. The Revenue Act replaced the Sugar Act.

    When they needed to print any kind of paper they got taxed. They got taxed on some common uses nowadays like newspaper and dice. They were taxing so many people for common uses so they can help pay for the expense.

    There was no longer a ban and British goods. The ship with the stamp papers for England got turned down. They repealed the Stamp Act because the government decided it would be easier that way.

    All of the taxes went up in glass, paper, paint, lead, and tea. They would use that tax money to pay the governors and judges. This Act was not good for the American colonists, good for the British.

    Snowballs, stones,and sticks were getting thrown at a group of British soldiers. The Britishes centuries shot into a crowd of people killing some. There was 5 total people were killed and 6 were wounded.

    The colonists threw 342 chests of tea into the harbor. The cause of this is because the British put a tax on tea. All of the tea they dumped came from China not India.

    The American War of Independance started because of this. The British out fought and outnumbered the Redcoats and earned their independance. The point of lexington and concord was to led the British and Patriot through the American Revolutionary war.
