    The proclamation of 1763 was a British made boundary claimed in the Appalachian Mountains. It stopped when the British won the French and Indian war, and ended. This proclamation closed colonial growth to go western beyond the Appalachian Mountains.

    The Sugar Act was a rising act that basically told people they needed to pay a tax. The Sugar Act also made to rate of things less expensive. Mostly the colonial merchant took over taxes and weakened the intention that tax.

    The Stamp act made the colonists pay a tax, represented by a stamp. Under the Stamp Act, all printed materials were taxed too. The British Parliament passed the Stamp Act to recover finances from the French and Indian war.

    The Quartering act allowed royal troops to stay in houses or empty buildings. If barracks were not available. Barracks were buildings or groups of buildings used to house soldiers.

    The Boston Massacre was not a "Massacre" in the classic sense. Colonists responded to this through propaganda and immediately capitalized on this incident. They were using it to fan colonial passions of seeing the British unjustly governing the colonies. It occurred when a mob harassed a British soldier who then fired back their muskets.

    A group of men calling themselves the "Sons of Liberty" went the the Boston Harbor. The men were dressed as Mohawk Indians. They boarded three ships, the Beaver, the Eleanor, and the Dartmouth, and dumped 45 tons of tea into the Boston Harbor.

    This act closed the ports of Boston in 1774 until the prices of the dumped tea was recovered. The capital of Massachusetts was moved to Salem. The Marble head was made the official port of entry for the Massachusetts colony.

    The Massachusetts Regulating Act, made all law officers subject to appointment by the royal governor. They banned all town meetings that didn't have approval of the royal governor. It was mainly caused by punishment for the Boston Tea Party.

    The Impartial Administration of Justice Act allowed the royal colony to move trails to other colonies. Or they could even go to England if he feared that juries in those colonies wouldn't judge a case fairly. While holding a law up from protests in Massachusetts Bay Colony.

    The Quebec Act was granted civil government and religious freedom to the Catholics living in Quebec. The act was to get the trust of the French saying the majority of the Province of Quebec. The act also gave freedom to worship and gave French property rights.
