    The proclamation of 1763 prohibited English settlement west of the Appalachian Mountains. This was done to prevent future wars with the natives; the English did not want to spend ant more money fighting wars in North America. The colonists were outraged by the proclamation; they believed that land was theirs because of the war they just fought.

    The Sugar Act was located in the United Kingdom. The Sugar Act was a revenue act passed down on 5 April, 1764. The goal of the Sugar Act was to raise money for Britain to pay some of the cost of an army in North America.
  • The Stamp Act

    They passed the stamp act on March 22, 1765 and ended in 1766. The stamp act was created to help the army. on March 18th, 1766 the stamp act ended, the stamp act ended because the directors were threatened.
  • The Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre occurred on March 5, 1770, in Boston, where a squad of nine British troops shot five members of a crowd of three or four hundred people who were verbally abusing them and hurling various missiles. On March 5, 1770, a murderous disturbance called the Boston Massacre took place on King Street in Boston. Boston was both the provincial capital of Massachusetts Bay and a significant shipping hub.
  • The Boston Tea Party

    The Boston Tea Party
    Until the 340 chests of British East India Company tea were fully paid for, the British closed Boston Harbor. The Sons of Liberty, a group of Patriots led by Samuel Adams, planned and carried out the Boston Tea Party. A group of men costumed as Native Americans threw the contents of the tea chest into Boston Harbor in what became known as the Boston Tea Party.
