The Townshend Act was created by Charles Townshend, and put taxes on tea, glass, paper, paint and lead. -
The Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was a fight between colonists and English troops that ended when the troops opened fired killing five colonists. -
The Tea Act
When Parliament reapealed the Townshend act they still kept the tax on the in form of the tea act. -
The Boston Tea Party
Arguably the most famous on this timeline. The Boston Tea Party was when 50 colonists dressed up as Mohawk Native Americans and threw nighty-thousand pouds of Englih tea into the harbor. -
The Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable Acts did a many things first it shut down Boston Harbor until the colonists paid for the tea dumped, second it canceld Massachusetts charter, third it returned the troops who caused th Boston massacre back to England, fourth and finally they also put General Thomas Gage. -
The Battles at Lexington and Concord
After the British found out that the colonists had stored gunpowder and weapons they organized a surprise attack. However Paul Revere and William Dawes got word of it and warned the colonists.
