  • Proclamation of 1763

    the proclamation of 1763 was a document for the colonists. It told them where they could and could not go. In this case they could not go past the Appalachian mountains.
  • Sugar Act

    the sugar act was a tax. It was a tax to where if you used sugar you were taxed on it. It also banned all foreign rum.
  • Stamp act

    The stamp act was another tax. This taxed everything using ink. That included newspaper, stamps, books, etc.

    The Boston massacre was a deadly riot. it involved one British soldier firing a weapon and killing 5. It was also a big propaganda used by the colonists and the British.

    This was an intolerable act. This act stated that the British soldiers were to be housed in public houses and the barracks. And if soldiers were outnumbered in colonial housing then they were to be in inns.
  • Quebec act

    this was the last intolerable act. this act freed the catholic and the french speaking settlers. It also let the french practice their way of law.

    The Boston Port Act was one of the intolerable acts. It involved the Boston Port and British ships. The British ships passed the port and demanded the residents of Boston to pay 1$.
