Royal Proclamation
The Royal Proclamation restricted movement west of the Appalachian mountains. This made the colonists upset because many had already purchased land west of the Appalachian mountains, and weren't allowed to use it because of the Proclamation. Sugar Act

Stamp Act

Declatory Act
The Declaratory Act claimed full power and authority over the 13 colonies to try to stop any rebellions. This made the colonists upset because of their lack of voice in their government. -
Townsend Act

Boston Massacre
The Boston massacre was when a group of British tropes fired on a group of protesters, and killed 5 of them. This caused outrage through the 13 colonies, and strengthened the will to break from the British.[http://americanhistory.about.com/od/revolutionarywar/a/boston_massacre.htm] -
Tea Act

Intolerable Acts
The intolerable acts were a series of 5 laws created to punish the Colonists for attempting to rebel. These laws were the final straw for many of the colonists, and led to the first congress meeting to discuss their official independence from Britain. Quebec Act
