    Proclamation of 1763
    The Proclamation of 1763, was signed by King George the third. This proclamation prohibited the colonist from inhabiting west of the Appalachian mountains. This proclamation was made to keep peace with the native Americans due to them being unhappy about there land being taken over.

    The sugar act is the act that started the prohibiting and taxing of goods that would enter the country. For example refined sugar and rum were taxed so people would have to pay for them to get into the country. People did not like this so they snuck these objects into the country.

    The stamp act was the act in which all things printed were taxed. Such as newspaper and playing cards. This act made all things printed even more exspensive then they us to be.

    The Boston massacre was a deadly riot that broke out between colonist and British soldier. The colonist were had great anger with the British soldier so one of them through a rock at soldier. This act made the soldier star firing in which killed few people. The press took this way out of proporshion in people started calling it massacre when it really was not.

    The Quebec act was the act that allowed relgious freedom to the roman Catholics in Quebec. This act also allowed civil government to Quebec. This act allowed Quebec to become a civil government.
  • The Boston tea party

    The Boston tea party
    The Boston tea party was a protest that was about the taxing of tea. So on the night of December 16 1773 colonist dumped 342 chests of imported tea into the harbor. This was to show the angier and resentment they had for the British soldiers.

    This act was the closing of the ports in Boston. The British closed this port and demanded money. This money was to pay back the British for the tea the colonist had dumped in the harbor. If the colonist wanted the harbor reopened then they had pay the British.

    This act was passed by the British parlaiment. THis act was the spreading of power throughout Massachusetts. This act made government official have more power to in forcing the laws.

    This was the act that aloud the royal governemenbt to move trials of British soldiers. This was because the colonist did not like the British so they would always have unfair rulings. So this act lets the government move the trial to a place they see fit and a place that will allow the court to judge fairly upon the British soldier.
  • Quartering act

    Quartering act
    The quartering act was the act that allowed British soldiers to stay with families in there houses if the soldier barrocks were full. The families would have to clean up after them make them food. The family would have to give up a room and bed. The soldier were stay with that family till spots in the soldier barrocks were opended.
