Proclamation of 1763
The proc of 1763 prohibited English settlement west of app mountains. This was done to prevent future wars with natives The English didn't want to spend anymore money fighting wars in north america. The colonists were out fought by the proc and they blamed it on their land wasn't good an of. -
the Sugar Act
The sugar act started cause they wanted to help the British
and give them money.
Also to fund an army colony and try to end them and there soldiers.
It ended when the sugar act got appealed and then the revenue acted replaced them. -
Quartering Act
They started the Quartering to increased the defense. what happened is that made them go into private homes. also the colonists called it unfair taxes. -
Stamp Act
they wanted to pay the British for there war. what happened in the stamp act is that they made colonists pay taxes. it ended by the parliaments when they repealed it because they didn't like it. -
The Boston massacre
It started when the British and colonists got into a war and it became a blood bath
What happened in the Boston massacre is that they got in a big war and every one was on a killing spree. It ended with the British winning and all the bodies left went to jail. -
The Boston Tea Party
The colonist where very mad at the Britains for making tax so then they where being mean. what happened in the Boston tea party is they dumped a lot of tea and sent it British to make British mad. It stopped because the British had more people over the colonists so they where out numbered. -
Boston Port Act
They created it to make the boston people pay a big fine.
They made the fine so they could break the tea from the Boston tea party.
It ended by the city's harbor when they were breaking the tea. -
Massachusetts Government act
It was made to help Massachusetts. What happened in the Massachusetts government act is that Massachusetts thought that if they made it they would get more power. also it ended in 1774 and it started in 1774 so it didn't even last a year also when it ended they took away all the rights. -
Administration of Justice Act
The Administration of justice act started because the British started making acts.
This act made it where if British people made crimes they could go to England and let them be tried in England.
Also the administration of justice act never ended because it never got repealed. -
Quebec Act
it began to gain loyalty for the french. It opened religious freedoms for religious people. It ended by the french coming after them and them just surrendered and gave up there land.
