where why
The Treaty of Paris was the document that official ended the French and Indian War. This war was fought between the British colonists and the French, with the help of the Natives. Because of this treaty the French were expelled from the North America and other land distributions were made. -
Stamp Act
The stamp act was passed by the British parliament taxing the Colonies on any printed documents. They did this in order to pay for the French and Indian War which was just two years prior. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre started when colonists attacked British soldiers. The soldiers shot and killed five people. This accident caused many colonists to join the fight against British control. -
Tea Act
This act was passed by British pariament taxing the Colonists on the puchase of tea. This tax was used to pay for the war. This event lead to the Boston Tea Party. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was a rebelious event led by Samuel Adams with the help of the Sons of liberty in which they stormed British mefchant ships and dumed tea into the Boston Harbor.
