the proclamation of 1763 was issued by King George lll on Oct 7th 1763 it had been followed by the treaty of Paris which had ended the seven year war. It had also transferred French territory in North America to Great Britain.People say the proclamation line was and imaginary boundary running generally along the Appalachian Moutains. -
