Navigation acts
purpose of act- Directed the trade bewteen england and the colonies. outcome- This prevented the colonists from sending certain products,such as sugar or tobacco outside the area that made up englands empire. The colonists first accepted the trade laws but then later the colonists came to resent british restrictions. -
Proclamation of 1763
Purpose- St the Appalachain mountains as the tempoary western boundary for the coloniies. outcome- angered thoes who owned shares in land companies. -
Sugar acts
Lowered the tax on important molasses also let officers seize goods from smugglers without going to court. angered because they felt violated their rights as english citizens. -
stamp act
This lawed placed a tax on most all pronted material. protested signed agreements against it

Set up a government for quebec in gave the area west of the appalachians + notrthr of the ohio river expressed their feelings in their name for the new laws-the intolerable acts.
