The Paris Treaty wassignedon September 3rd, 1783. It ended the Revolutionary War between Britain and the Americans. The Treaty said that the 13 states were to be free and independent colonies. It also included rights, such as fishing, and land boundaries. -

Assassination of Franz Ferdinand
Franz Ferdinand was the heir to the Austria-Hungary throne. Him and his wife Sophie were shot in Sarajevo by a Serbian terrorist by the name of Gavrillo Princip. The goal of the assassination was to break off Austria-Hungary's south-Slav provinces and conbine them into a greater Serbia. -

Armistice Day is also known today as Rememberance Day. It marks the day that WWI ended at the 11th hour. It is a holiday in many allied countries and is meant to commemorate the lives of the soldiers that died for us. Italy celebrates Armistice Day on November 4th, the day of Armistice of Villa Giusti. -

Hitler's Suicide
Adolf Hitler and his wife Eva Braun killed themselves in Berlin. Hitler shot himself while poisoning himself with cyanide. In 1970, their bodies were both cremated and their ashes were scattered. -
