  • Cambodia's freedom

    Cambodia gains its independence from France. Sihanouk there leader wanted freedom, other Cambodians have been advocating under French rules since the 1930's. The French leader not willing to agree on Sihanouk demands, so war broke out and the Cambodians won. Sihanouk gained his people a free country.
  • Sihanouk's father dies. Sihanouk becomes head of state.

    Sihanouk's father was a Christian Cambodian leader. He accomplish many things why he was the head of the state. He passed at the age at 89, Then his son was crowned in 1941.
  • The U.S invaded and Bombed Cambodia and the Vietnamese routes.

    The U.S began a huge sky bombing in Cambodia. Devastating the country sides. They Invaded the supply routes the Vietnamese traveled threw.
