How did he come to power- Constantine took the place of his father because he died.
Legacy- He had a statue, he was First christian emperor and Constantine constructed many churches. -

Family/personal life- She was born in a noble family and ruled with his son Constantine the IIII.
Major Accomplishments- Irene was the first women to rule the Byzantine Empire and claimed sole rulership of the Empire. She also started the 2 council of Nicea.
How did she come to power- She came to power by marrying with emperor Leo but his son wanted the throne so she rebelled against him and ended up killing him. -

Born on 958 in Turkey, and died on 1025 in Constantinople
Personal Life- He was considered the Bulgar Slayer because he blinded his enemies. He traded his sister Theodora for aid. Basil II also was a military commander.
Major Accomplishments- He has slow conquering but wise method and he reconquered lost territory. Basil II developed war-machines.
Legacy- He was respected and feared by the Roman citizens and reconquered many land. -

Personal life- She killed her husband to rule, she hated nature. Zoe married 3 times and liked to magnafactured perfumes.
Legacy-Gold mosaic on the Hagia Sophia, and she apears next to Jesus and Constantine XI.
How did she come to power- Constantine died and became empress with her sister Theodora. Micheal IIII put Zoe on a monastery to come to power.
Intresting Fact- Never had a child of her own. -
