Chevron Oil Spill in the Amazon
Taken in Sacha, Ecuador, this object depicts negligence from Chevron in the form of polluting an area with oil in the Amazon rainforest. To put this into perspective, the total area polluted is the size of Rhode Island. Indigenous peoples have been affected by the pollution since the 1960's. They are sick of the smell and terrible sights that have wrecked their home.
