Utica College Shine project starts
The shine project (Students helping in Naturalization of elders) begins in Central New York at Utica college and Hamilton college, For this project students help elderly refugees learn English and also help them study for citizenship exam for the United States. MVRCR is also involved in project. -

Aung San Suu Kyi and her followers claim victory in elections in Burma on 04/01/12 and wins a legislative seat. She had previously been under house arrest since 1990 elections. -
