    Buddhism
Siddartha Gautama (The Buddha) lived 563 BCE to 483 BCE; Buddhism began after he sat under the Bodhi Tree and acquired enrichment. Buddhism is more of a philosophy or a way of life and is no-where near being violent. Just like any other religion or belief system, it provides codes of practices that help with life which would lead to true happiness. As interesting as it may seem, Buddhism also helps to develop a deep understanding of the human mind as well as healing.
