Trojan War
The Trojan War began due to the adduction of Quern Helen of Sparta. After men were sent to bring her back there was refusal. Greeks began to put an attack on the city. Which during the attack. 10 years later they offered the Trojan horse which was brought into the city. In which Greeks were inside waiting to attack. Once the attack began the Greeks managed to defeat the Trojans. They were able to save Helen. -

Trojan War Analysis
This was major to the history of the Odyssey. It was major due to the fact that a queen was kidnapped. The time it took to save her and the smart plan showed the beginning of the Odyssey. In which in this it's shows that Odyssey gained courage for and more knowledge. -

Lotus Eaters
The Lotus Eater lived on an island in which contained a lotus flower. When odysseys traveled there he consumed the flower causing him to lose desire to come home. After a while he realized the danger. He regained his sense of direction helping him and his men return home. -

In Lotus Eaters, perfection blinds people from reality. This is shown when the men forget about home. When reality is shown to Odysseus, it helps them come back. Instead of staying on the island, he helps them leave. In which in this even it shows that they lost there sense of direction and got lost in perfection. -

Cyclops
Odysseus faced the Cyclops when he landed ashore on Sicily. In which he was now in the land of Cyclops. In which him and his crew were mostly introduced to a Cyclops named Polyphemus. Who made Odysseus quiet using 12 of his companions and blocking a cave with a large rock. When Odysseus was let out he made Polyphemus get drunk so that he could go through with his plan.once Polyphemus was drunk Odysseus blinded him with a burning stake. In which he escaped by using the bellies of sheep. -

Cyclops Analysis
Odysseus gained more knowledge due to not only escaping but finding a plan to get him out of this trouble. We learn that even though Odysseus may be vey curious and dangerous he understands when threaten to fight back. This develops the theme by making it more dependent for Odysseus only relying on himself. It develops it due to Odysseus being smaller but still defeating Polyphemus. -

In this location Odysseus gains curiosity to open the bag. But also in conjugation to curiosity he learned that his curiosity helped him figure the unknown out. They learn that when something may be used to help you in may help you in an unexpected way due to the fact the winds helped Odysseus figure he was cursed. It helps build the thing of curiosity. -

Aeolus-Bags of Winds
When Odysseus traveled to Aelia to meet Aeolus, he was given a bag with winds in it. This bag was given to him by the wind god, Aeolus. The bag contained different types of winds, and when the winds were opened, they escaped. But when they escaped, they brought Odysseus and his crew to Aeolus, which showed that something was wrong or a god cursed Odysseus. -

When Odysseus and his crew landed on Circe Island, Circe Used Magic and turned the crew into pigs. Hermes gave Odysseus a plant to protect him from her magic. Once Circe noticed that Odysseus wasn't falling under her magic, Odysseus used her for advice on how to navigate the underworld. -

When Odysseus and his crew appeared and saw Scylla and Charybdis. They had to make a big decision in which he himself succeeded to live. In Which they choose Scylla's path. But when they chose this path some of the men were sacrificed in the process. -

In the Odyssey, Odysseus had an interaction with the Sirens. This was due to the Sirens singing to lure the men to them when they sailed by that area. Odysseus and his men used earwax so they couldn't hear the calls along with tying themselves up. -

In this interaction, Odysseus and his crew lost a few members. This was due to the paths being so difficult that he would rather risk some of the men than all of the men and the boat drowning. But Odysseus himself gained leadership along with Resilience. -

When Odysseus and his crew land on Thrinacia. They noticed that there was battle but they were immortal and forbidden to be harmed by mortals. But due to their hunger being so bad they slaughtered the cattle for food. But due to this Zeus sent a storm to destroy their ship causing all the men to die except Odysseus. -

In this even Odysseus not only lost his crew but he lost his ship. Which showed him that not following the rules of greed can ruin everything or have it ruined. Which left him stuck until he could figure a way to get home. -

Suitors /Home Summary
When Odysseus arrived home he disguised himself as a poor beggar. But in which he used to see how the suitors were treating the house along with Penelope. When he tried out for the arrow contest to "marry" Penelope he was seen to fail due to him being seen as an old beggar. In which there were multiple tests I order for Penelope to marry and to know the man was Odysseus. When he passed then he took revenge on the suitors taking over his house and doing the unthinkable. -

In this, it shows Odysseus respect for his house. Along with his servants in which in this he gains a true perspective of what happened behind his back. In which he gets more control and helps fix certain problems that were happening in his absence.
