Sugar Act
Taxes were put on wine, iron, lumber, and other goods to raise money. This led to protests from colonists. -
Stamp Act
Tax was placed on legal documents such as contracts, licenses, and newspapers to raise more money. This also angered the colonists. @nomoretax: rt if u hate taxes -
Quartering Act
The colonists were forced to pay for supplies and they argued against this. They were forced to give the British soliders living space. This was looked at as another threat to their rights. -
Declaration of Rights and Grievances

Declaratory Act

Townshend Act

Boston Tea Party

First Continental Congress Meeting
12/13 colonies decided to aviod all Bristish goods, forming committees to help. The only colony that did not participate in the meeting was Georgia. @boycotbritish: where u @ Georgia????
