  • French and Indian War

    The colonists caused the French and Indian War, by entering the Native's land. The colonists were begininning to take the Beaver pelts, and control the Native's land. The Natives got frustrated and started the war. The British had to help the colonists by fighting back with the Native's.
  • The Proclamation Line.

    The Proclamation line was created by King George the second. It showed the Colonists that there was a boundary of where they could cross. King George created it after the 7 year long war, allowing the Natives to have the land to themselves. The colonists became upset about fighting for the land, and King George not allowing the Colonists to cross that line.
  • The Sugar Act

    The Sugar Act was when the British raised the taxes on Sugar. Eventually the colonists became tired of spending too much money on Sugar, and decided not to buy Sugar any longer. The British became upset with the colonists rebelling against there act. The British then decided to assume the colonists were smuggling sugar, which made the colonists even more angry. Eventually, the colonists take act.
  • Quartering Act

    The quartering act states that the colonists have to house the British. Whenever the british need housing the colonists are to give them everything that they need. If they are to disobey the Quartering act, then they will loose there house to the British. This mad the colonists furious.
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act is a direct tax made by The British Parliment. The direct tax means that you saw them add on the tax to your items. The colonists were beginning to wonder if they were strong enough to fight the British. The colonists began to come up with a plan.
  • The Decletary Act

    The Decletary Act replaced the Stamp act. They deducted a lot of the money on the taxes already given, and replaced them all with little taxes. This didn't upset the colonists as much. This actually pleased the colonists.
  • Townshend Acts

    The Townshend acts were a series of acts made by the British parliment.
