The Reform BIll of 1832
The wealthy middle class was the first group to protest. Protests took place near England and Parliment would extend suffrage. They feared the violinence would spread to Britian. Parliment passed the Reform Bill of 1832. -
Chartist Movement
The Reform Bill increased the # of British voters but only a small precent of men could vote so a popular movement arose opon people who still couldnt vote to press for more rights this was called the Chartist Movement. -
Suffrage for working class men
Reform Bil granted vote to middle-class men in 1867 -
Suffrage for male rural workers
Reform Bill granted vote to working-class men in 1867 and rural men in 1884 -
Suffrage women over the age of 30
Reform Bill granted vote to women over the age of 30
