The FIRST discovery
Around 40,000 years ago, we think that the Aboriginals may have discovered Australia, as we have a prediction that humans originated in Africa and that the Aboriginals used canoes / rafts to get to Australia. -

Captain Arthur Phillip was chosen to lead the First Fleet. -

The Charlotte, Alexander, Friendship, Lady Penrhyn, Prince Of Wales, Scarborough, Sirius, Fishburn, Borrowdale, Supply, Golden Grove were all part of the First Fleet that left on the 13th of May, 1787 -
Hellooo, Australia
The first boat arrived at Botany Bay on the 26th of January, 1788. Governor Arthur Phillip chosen to be the colony´s first Governor. -

Canberra was announced as Australia's capital city in 1901. It was selected as a compromise between Australia's largest cities, Sydney and Melbourne.
