Puritans established the Massachusetts bay colony along the upper coast of North America. The port town of Boston soon became the colony's thryving capitol. eventually the plymoth and Massachusettes and plymoth colonies became one. -

this diseace was brought over by the europens. It devasted the native population. Most native people how contracted the small pox virus did not live. -

The Wampanoag chief Metacom,whom the english called King Phillip, organized his tribe and several others to wipeout the invaders.the natves burned outlying settlements making their way to the outskirts of boston. The colonist out raged and shocked responded by killing as many natives as possible including some friendly natives. -
slavery
By this time there was already 13000 slaves iin the colonies. slaves were a cheap inexpensive way for labor. through out the years this # will increase. -
creation of goergia
James Oglethorpe aquired a charter for a new colony. He hoped that this colony would be a debters colony, They would come here to work of their debts. -
French-Indian war
This war was a series of battles between the English and the French & indians. This was also when our first president marches into battle and loses for the first time at age twenty two. -
Immigrants
By 1755, over half of all european immagrants were not English. Large numbers of them included germans and the scot-irsh.Other immagrants included the jews dutch and scandinavians. -

This was designed to keep the colonist out of native land, west of tthe appalachains. But the colonists eager to explore the west ignored this and continued thier westward expansion.
