Free settlers
Free settlers came into Australia instead of just Convict settlements living in Australia. Most free settlers came because of the loss of space in England and how it was "free" to travel to Australia. -
Loss of School for children
Most of the population of NSW was illiterate. Establishing schools was seen as much lesser importance then clearing land. By 1807, there were more than 2000 children in the colony. It was then when it was decided to improve children's chances in life.
